The breakfast was terrible, cooked English breakfast was available, but it was no good.The staff in reception was friendly and helpful
Only hot water was available in the shower and the toilet did not work properly.

The place was abominable! It was dirty, the aircon did not work. The refrigerator was dirty and did not work at all! It was cramped and completely unsuitable for me and my young brother even for one night. I stayed there in 2001 and nothing has been done to it since! Howard Johnson should be disgusted it had it's name on it

The price.
The Bathroom, though big had a broken bath. The AC made a lot of noise so we had to switch it off. the weather was excellent in Malta so the fan was enough.

views across the bay from the room.getting away from the hotel.
staff attitude. dismal run down state of the hotel. i.e.sofa falling apart. air con units that didn't work. sink that didn't drain properly. window that leaked. curtain that hadn't been washed for a long time. lack of detail and frequency of cleaning. mosquitoes.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the lokation was very, very good.
The rooms and furniture was a bit old.

The location was good and we had a lovely view of the bay. We were given a huge 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment although we only booked a double room. It was cheap.
The apartment was musty and damp and wasn't very clean - there were old blood stains on the bedsheets. The furnishings were worn and dated and the air con didn't work in all rooms.
